There’s something particularly lovely about wearing Irish made jewellery. Whether you enjoy a splash of colour in your accessories or prefer something more pared-back and simple – the talent of Irish jewellery designers is hugely impressive, and the collections vary from luxurious simplicity to more bold and complex pieces.
I have only recently learned about Irish gold and how it now features in a range by House of Lor. Each piece, from pendants to rings, contains a precious amount of pure Irish gold. The gold is sourced from the Galantas Gold Corporation in Omagh, Co Tyrone and every piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and bears the hallmark of the Dublin Assay Office.
The collection is quite varied and includes a contemporary twist on the shamrock and Claddagh ring. But if you prefer pieces without a nod to traditional themes, there are gorgeous leaf-inspired pendants and rings, and the disc pendants and earrings are extremely classic.
This is a range of jewellery that would make a perfect choice for a meaningful gift for anyone at home or abroad. Who wouldn’t want to wear a little piece of Irish gold every day?
Celebrating the rich history and culture of Ireland in each design. We are proud to offer the only jewellery collection in the world made using rare Irish gold in every piece. Our sustainable gold is ethically and safely processed, ensuring the purest gold and looking after the environment and communities. You can learn more about our crafting process here.
