Irish Jewellery containing Rare Irish Gold at Heart
House of Lor, true Irish Jewellery design, is Irish Gold Jewelry brand from The Jewellery House (TJH) Ltd, made its debut at the end of 2015. TJH has over 60 years of experience supplying quality and innovative product to the retail Jewelry market. Backed by unrivalled product innovation and customer service, we are proud of our excellent reputation within the jewellery industry.
Our brand represents folklore with fashion, our collections are designed and crafted in Ireland. Grounded in Irish heritage but delivered in a contemporary and confident way.
House of Lor is the first and only range of Irish jewellery made using Irish gold in every design. The House of Lor range consists of a comprehensive Irish Rose Gold and Sterling Silver collection. We also use 9-carat Yellow and White Gold in our Love Shamrock Collection, incorporating the Irish Rose Gold in each design. House of Lor Jewellery is made under exclusive license from the Galantas Gold Corporation*, which operates the only commercial gold mine in Ireland.
House of Lor Jewellery has been designing and handcrafting beautiful pieces of Irish gold jewellery for over three generations. Our designs are inspired by the rich history and culture of Ireland, and our goal is to create timeless pieces that can be passed down from generation to generation. While our designs do contain a small piece of Irish gold, we only use a limited amount in order to preserve this rare and precious resource.
Ireland has a rich, living culture drawn from its heritage and its enduring creative associations.
Our collections live and breathe the duality of Ireland today, enhanced by ancient society’s richness: continually looking to the future whilst always honouring its past. We invite our pieces’ collectors to journey with us through time and explore all the symbols, the stories that make Ireland unique.
All of our jewellery is authenticated and hallmarked by the Assay Office in Dublin Castle, which ensures its distinctly Irish providence. Your independent guarantee is that your purchase is certified and it’s an assurance of the quality of the materials used in your purchase.
3rd December 2014: Galantas Gold Corporation (the Company) is pleased to announce that an agreement has been entered into for the production, marketing and sale of a range of jewellery products, using Galantas Irish gold.
The agreement, with TJH Ltd of Dublin, Ireland (TJH), sees Galantas Irish gold, produced from the Company’s Omagh mine, being sold to TJH at a premium to the average monthly London Metal Bullion price, subject to a minimum price, with a royalty on wholesale jewellery sales, payable every quarter. TJH is an established jewellery marketer and manufacturer, having developed other brands, including Irish-oriented brands. The premium, minimum price, royalty and volume are confidential for commercial reasons, at the request of TJH.
Galantas has 100% ownership of the only gold mine in Ireland, located near Omagh, County Tyrone. The mine was working until recently as an open pit. It has a planning application for continuing operations underground nearing determination. Until underground mining is permitted and operational, Galantas Irish gold, for this agreement, is anticipated to be sourced from existing stock from initial production.
